Journey through the emerald tea plantations of Fort Portal. After arriving, enjoy an afternoon exploring the ancient Crater Lakes or embark on a guided walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to spot unique primates and bird species.
The morning is dedicated to an exhilarating trek in Kibale Forest to locate habituated wild Chimpanzees. In the afternoon, we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 3 hours), descending the rift valley floor.
An early start to find lions, leopards, and elephants on the Kasenyi plains. After lunch, board a boat for the Kazinga Channel cruise—the highest concentration of hippos in Africa.
We drive to the southern Ishasha Sector. This area is famous for its unique population of lions that climb massive fig trees—a rare sight found in only two places in the world.
A final scenic drive back to the capital. We reflect on the journey across the Savannah as we drop you at the airport or your preferred city hotel for your flight out.
