Day-by-Day Plan

Day 01

Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from Entebbe or Kampala. This 8-9 hour scenic drive is a highlight in itself, featuring a stop at the Equator line for photographs and crossing the rolling terraced hills of Kigezi—famously known as the "Switzerland of Africa." As the sun sets, you will arrive for dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge nestled near the edge of the ancient forest.

Day 02

The Ultimate Gorilla Trek

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing from UWA rangers. You will then venture into the dense rainforest, tracking the footsteps of the giants. Once located, you will spend exactly one hour observing a habituated gorilla family in their natural habitat—a truly humbling experience.

Optional: Spend the afternoon on a community walk to visit the Batwa pygmies and learn about their ancient forest culture.

Day 03

Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the forest. We begin our scenic drive back toward the city or airport. We will pause in Mbarara for a traditional lunch before reaching your final destination in the late afternoon, carrying memories that will last a lifetime.
